Long after I stopped waiting tables, whenever I was particularly stressed, I would have dreams about a night at the restaurant gone wrong. How the customer's demands would multiply and the hall to the kitchen elongate as I was trying to retrieve the finished orders that were spilling out of the kitchen on to the floor.
Are you losing sleep at night because a portion of your claims hit the ceiling bouncing back to you?
Whether you are a psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker or mental health professional, don't let your insurance claims slow you down. You need to concentrate on your clients and the overall balance of your practice. Leave the nitty gritty to us.
In 2013, we have a claims denial rate of 2.3% which is much lower than the 10% which is industry standard right now. We credit that to the close relationship we have with the practices we work for. Having a great team in place, both in your office and in ours, keeps the details working in your favor.
You too can have a claims denial rate that is practically nil.
Here's to a great week!

Hello- Let me introduce myself.
Not to brag, but I was voted 'Friendliest Person' in my graduating class at Bryant and Stratton Business School. My approach to life is, 'Hey, let's enjoy ourselves!' And that is my philosophy in work as well as in play.
I work with individual counselors and small practices filing claims and following up, tracking authorizations, helping with credentialing and business building.
I am either familiar with or have worked with these practice management and claims programs- Lytec Medical, Office Ally, Gateway EDI, Therapy Appointment, ICANotes, Kareo.
I am familiar with the ins and outs of several popular insurance companies- United Health Care and United Behavioral Health, Cigna, Aetna, BCBS, Value Options, GEHA, UMR and others.
I pride myself on my detective skills in getting claims problems solved and claims paid. I find there are times I know more than the customer service represntatives I talk to. But I use that knowledge to offer suggestons to the reps that might lead to discovering what could be holding a claim up from being processed for payment.
I also do proofreading of immigration hardship reports and school accomodations.
Let me know if you have any questions!
